From the very first minute, «Tsmoki» started successfully attacking the basket. The team's guard Saddler just did not leave any to chance for Astana. The guests had a flawless victory in the first quarter — 19:27. In the second period, the «Astana» redeemed its game by accurate throws and good defense, and on top of it, a high pace of the game helped «Astana» to catch up with the opponent. Nevertheless, the second period has been also won by the guests — 32:33.
After a long break, «Astana» seemed to have their second wind. Leonidas Kaselakis and Ike Udano showed a good game, who pleased the fans with his dunks. By the end of the third period, «Astana» secured a good advantage of +12 points. As a result, they ended the third quarter with a score of 57:45 in favor of «Astana». The final period was destined to show which team was stronger. The game ended with a score of 77:59 in favor of «Astana».

- Today we have had the best support in the season — thanks to the fans. On the eve of March 8, we dedicate this victory to all the ladies! Of course, we started the game very nervously. The break in the games had its effect — we did not feel the pace. In the first half, we defended too weakly, once we added some power to it the situation immediately changed. We won back 15 points and finished the first half in a draw. During a break, I suggested not to slow down, be more aggressive. It worked and I'm thankful to my players.
