Jaleel O’Brien joined the team 

American forward Jalil Obrin (26 years old, 201 cm tall) has signed a one-year contract with PBC «Astana».

This has been the first experience for Jaleel of performing outside the US. A native of San Diego, California, played for the colleges of Utah and San Diego State.He started his professional career in the second team «Utah Jazz» — «Salt Lake City Stars» (G-League). In 2016 he signed a contract with the main team «Utah Jazz». He spent the season 2017/2018 in  “Agua Caliente Clippers”.

Head coach of «Astana» Emil Raikovich commented on his signing:
“JJ is a versatile player who can do almost anything on the court. He can close just three positions of the shooting guard, small and power forwards. In the attack, I hope his size will create an advantage in missmatches. I'm sure his game in team and the ability to assist partners will help us.”
