A two-day series of games of “Astana” with Atyrau's “Barsy”, which was held in the framework of the 27th Kazakhstan Championship of Kazakhstan among men's teams of the National League has ended in the capital.
Nominally, the guests from Atyrau were considered the “hosts” of the court, despite the fact that it was a home game for the capital club. Both days showed a very intense game in their first half. Moreover, the score in both games was opened by rivals of “Astana”, which somewhat surprised the fans.
On October 16, “Astana” confidently seized the game from the very first minutes. However, on the second day the capital players got somewhat relaxed. The first period went rather tensely for “Astana”, the rival was aggressively advancing. Already in the second half of the game, “Astana” seemed to be shaken up, and the score rapidly began to increase in favor of the players of the capital team.
As a result, the first game ended with a score 62:85, and the second — 58:92 in favor of the basketball club Astana.
